Bruises
Managed to acquire myself a nice big 4''x2'' greeny blue bruise on my shin
I wouldn't normally mind, but I have a big weekend coming up which involves some skirt!
Is there anything your mum/auntie/granny has ever told you to do to get rid of one quicker? You know the sort of advice, the kind where you put a teabag on your eye if you have a stye
Thank you

There are herbal pills that apparently cut down the brusing. Not sure what you are called though, the chemist will know.
I've took them once after being battered by paintballs all up the arms the thighs I am not sure if the brusing was reduced or not, but its worth a go.

Try taking Arnica. Rubbing witch hazel into the bruise will help and speed up the healing but may make it feel tender

Lasonil is the recommended stuff. I did my shin in yesterday, my Dad's used to be a pharmacist and that's what he suggested - expect it to look an awful lot worse very quickly, but it will get better faster.
