MOT
While washing the wifes Almera noticed some rust bubbles n front of the nearside wheelarch under the sill. With a hammer and cutters I removed a patch of rust 4inches by 1.5 inches. This hole gave me a view of the chassis underneath which was fine.No rust.I've filled the hole with filler and tetrasealed te whole repair. Tomorrow I'll paint it.The cars a runaround that for the past 2 years has cost 33p for a bulb. Isthe car likely to get through an MOT in 11 months with the repair? The rust bubbles were there for the last MOT and not mentioned on the Observations. Cheers

I think rust only has an effect on the MOT when its within a certain distance of Suspension mountings and stuff like where the seatbelts are mounted. Something like 20cm.
