Credit Card % to Seller
Hi Guys,
im looking to make a £5000 purchase and wanna get some discount in offering cash, Does anybody know what % the shop gets charged if I pay by credit card ? I seem to think its about 2% of sale value.

I am charged 1.3% on credit cards. Hardly anything on debit cards. Shop woiuld be unlikely to tell you real amount though and you have no way of knowing. Real cash i.e. used oncers never offends.

When I came to pay for my car. I was asked how I was going to pay for it. When I mentioned credit card, he told me that I would have to stump up for the 3% credit charge on top. Same applies in computer fairs.
