Software sold on ebay
Just been looking on ebay, and found listings like this

8 quid for a 400 quid software package. Now, something sounds amiss, but it seems odd that they are saying that the software has a serial number and can be registered - presumably the serial number is valid.
So, what's the catch?

photoshop is very easy to download if you know where to look. serial numbers aren't hard to find either...

Either that or he likes selling things at a huge loss

We bought a copy not long ago, before we'd even paid we had a message from ebay advising us not to complete the sale..... we then paid by paypal... (mails overlapped) and we still got the goods.... but the guy got chucked off ebay..... we loaded the software, and did the number thing, but we don't update it online just in case it gets found out.... and deleted somehow.. but we still get all the benefits....
