QUESTION
<Destiny's Child Mode OFF>

I've just maxed out mine & the wifes Mini Cash ISA allowances for the new Tax year 2006/07. (£3k each). However, I have an ISA from previous years with a balance of £6k that is underperforming. Question is, can I transfer the underperforming ISA to my new higher interest ISA in this tax year?

Anyone?

Yes. In Jan I transfered £13k odd that was in a Northern Rock mini cash ISA to A&L.

Some banks dont let you transfer money into their ISA's from other banks, but some do.

A&L's ISA is 5.2% AER until April 2007 so looks like a good bet. No fees to withdraw.
