o2.
Reasons are that I've shopped around in the past and I get the best deal there for the network coverage. Everyone I know pretty much is on o2 too which helps.
My work phone is on t-mobile and the reception is shocking and the number of "You've dialled an incorrect number" messages you get when you make calls to stored contacts is worrying.

Vodafone. Been with O2 and Orange and now stick with Vodafone purely for reception/network coverage.
02 was worst network Ive been on. I lived in Basingstoke and signal was a joke. No bars at all - slipped in vodafone sim from work phone and bosh 7 bars.
Orange was good but dont like the way they brand handsets and fiddle with the software. Still 2-4-1 films is good - lucky I use my mums voucher

TMobile direct from there site, I have just taken out flext 35 plus the email tariff on a blackberry 8700 for £35 mth (£25 + £10 for the email)
Seems a very good deal, used to be with orange but they have gone down hill a lot in the last 12 months would definitely recommend tmobile to anyone, if you order through the business section you get a dedicated sales person.
Also have a 6630 on three for £1 mth but there is just something i don't like about them?
And still got my nokia 6230 on orange 120 with 30 texts for £15

About to sign a new contract with o2. They're VERY behind the times on new phones, and not competitive on the price of decent Nokia handsets, but video calls are included in the monthly bundle, as are picture messages.
Hence I'm getting a just-about-to-be-superceded N70 in the next few days with them.

It's clear that whatever provider you use, reception has to be paramount.
T mobile could be free and I wouldn't use them on the basis I get no signal where I live. The same with Orange. There is a signal with 02 but not like the full bars Vodafone provide.
If I travel I take other sims with me.

T-mobile are on a bit of a mission just now. They are investing a shed load of cash into opening up new stores and improving reception in poor signal areas.
They have recently launched a system in America that predicts how strong your signal will be in your area that has proven to be very accurate, and it will be launched here soon.
Also, last year, Virgin mobile was voted to be the best network for reception in the UK and T-mobile didn't do to good which is strange given that Virgin rented/used the T-mobile network.
And 18 month contracts is just the way the industry is going.

O2 - for me, they've been the cheapest, plus there has never been a problem with their network, in the three years I've been with them.
They're useless when it comes to customer support/service, but I've only had very few dealings with them.
