Default What house phone is the best?

At the moment got a pair of panasonic digital handsets about 5 years old ,but the ring and voice are so low we are missing calls and its time to change ,not worried about e.mail or answerphone(to tight to call people back) ..thanks jon

B & O are very nice but have a price tto match I'm afraid. We have the Beocom 4 which has a jog wheel like the iPod. Extremely easy to use and very handy for flicking through your phone book.

I went with Phillips 5253 as I wanted 6 handsets and they were the only ones I could find that had a shared address book .

Good point that, when i bought our BT Synergie(sp) phones about 4 years ago, i couldn't find any with a shared address book - you'd think that would be the first thing they would think of.

Might have a look at the Phillips myself, unless any better recommendation come in.

I need new phones too, only really need two handsets thou, will keep an eye on here, and check out the philips range right away.

Ive got a B & O Beocom 4 too, bought it from someone on here. looks good, great sound quality too but like Mossman said it does come at quite a price.

You only need one handset,if the calls for you then the wife will bring it to you ..............................hope she doesn't read this!!!
