Default I have a credit card question..

A bit ago I was trying to buy a CD online that I can't get here in the US. The site I was using, HMV, was asking me to provide an "issue" number off of my credit card. This was in addition to the typical security code, expiration date, etc.

I have no idea what an issue number is, nor did Bank of America when I contacted them. Anybody here know?

CC cards don't have issue no's, you get them on Switch cards, and similar.

It's simply the number of times a new card has been physically issued to you.
I.e. Issue number 03 will be the third card that you have received on your account!

Not all UK card issuers use it so try leaving the box blank when placing your order - it should work ok!

Yep, issue numbers are only used on switch and solo cards, if you are using a credit card you can just ignore that field and fill out the others

I dont have an issue number on my switch card, but leaving it as a blank field has never failed.
