You will also have to be VAT registered.
No good going to the DVLA office, you need to call them and get a form to fill in. they then do a visit to your trade premises, and you will need a valid reason for them as well
mine too 3 months

Not sure, i got mine before the budget and they were £93.50 for the first 6 months. After the 1st six months you have to go back and prove that your still a motor trader and they will give you a full year

You do not need to be VAT registered and they did not come to my premisis
I think as long as you can prove beyond all doubt that you need them and are indeed a motor trader they will issue them no problem

Yes somone else i was talking to got a year straight away, i think it depends on the local office you go to.
Oh and mine took all of half an hour to get sorted out, went down took the proofs ( invoices, insurance etc etc) , filled out the form and half an hour later i was walking out with my plates

Cost the Price of a tax disc.
Just for the record I was not VAT registered.
