Recently got a Nokia 6230i. I frequently have to dial my work voicemail system and it requires a user number (followed by #) and password (followed by #). Done this for years on various phones, and I set it up as a quickdial.

i.e. voicemailnumber <p><code>#<password>#

This phone was fine until yesterday. It now doesn't seem to send DTMF tones - i.e. the voicemail system doesn't recognise that the code or password - as though nothing's been typed in. Even if I dial it manually, then use the Send DTMF menu option, it still ignores it. From a landline, all's fine.

Any ideas??? Could it have been disabled somehow, and need re-enabling?

Have u enabled 'send dtmf tones' from the menu? It may have been turned off by somebody
