Same as if I was out walking one day and found a sack full of money. I'm not going to contact the police. Finders keepers.
Just look at that heist a couple weeks ago. If you happened to stumble across some of that cash that had been left for one of the associates, would you hand it in, or keep it ?????????

I remember finding 70 quid laying on the floor in the road once. I didnt hand it in.
However, if there was any accompanying documents which would enable me to track down the owner then I would make the efforts to track down the owner. Quite a few people have got their mobile phones back from me when i have found them at raves. Not just phones either, Credit cards, Driving licences, it not much hassle to stick it in en envelope and post it, esp when it weighs virtually nothing.
Cash on its own though, is mine when I find it. Cos you know as well as well as I do that its a pointless operation to hand it over to the police.
