One less camera van to worry about.

One less camera van to worry about.
A major accident today involving a Greater Manchester police safety camera van on the A56 near Altrincham. Looking at the damage, I'd say he must have been travelling at a fair old speed.
Sorry, no pictures as I was driving past the aftermath.

Just remember "speed cameras are there to reduce the accident rate"

You've got to laugh. They didn't have a very good day yesterday though.

Pursuit in a Transit van; if it wasnt so irresponsible it'd be funny... A Manchester bobby told me that the vans were used (instead of beat cars) because they were much more practical; which I can see, but that they have response cars for all pursuits.

At the time we drove by, there were about 15 to 20 policemen standing around, and loads of blue flashing lights.
I just found out my wife took a picture of it on her phone as we drove past.

Yes Manchester Police who published the very silly IMHO leaflet about not contesting spped tickets,
they are also the same Police force who some years ago had a reported accident rate of one car written off per day !
