exactly.... and those of us 'poor fekkers' that work on the *front-line* as it were, get castigated at every opportunity... as it happens ive ben informed today that im to go on a HDTV course on this coming Friday, so if i glean anything of any use... ill pass it over on here

I had Sky back around 1999/2000, but ended up cancelling it due to the terrible customer service. If I wrote down what happened here people wouldn't believe it. Basically it consisted of me taking numerous days off work sitting in waiting for engineers who didn't turn up, or engineers who did turn up but didn't have the right equipment etc..
Now I just have normal TV. I presume eventually that'll be HD?

HDTV looks great from those in-store demo discs, but how much actual broadcast TV will be HD, and when?
I've had a nice big plasma for nearly three years now and still the majotiy of the stuff I watch (Freeview) is below the quality of the TV's potential. The ads are always very good though
