Some People ! DOH !
My Friends, I give you
THE DUMBEST GUY ON EARTH!
This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for 84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures.
The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust.
A woman is either asleep or otherwise out in the front seat passenger side. The driver was jogging up and down on Rt. 925.(in the background) Witnesses said their physical/mental state was OTHER than normal. The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.

Pete. If not being very aufait with the workings of the great internet makes me an idiot, then so be it.
I have been trying to edit this thread for the past few minutes because the picture wouldn't transfer over.
I shall seek assistance from t'other half when he deems to pass by this way next. Until then , I'd be extremely grateful if you'd keep your rude comments to yourself.
Thank you
Yve

Well, the BOSS is right next to me now.
I will not repeat what he'd like to do to Pete, suffice to say he'd have trouble using toilet paper for a few weeks.
It's Scoobynet's fault. I / we have tried several times to cut and paste the entire text with this item into the boxes but it won't carry them forward to the main page. So here they are, the final words.....
"The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver.
While the plywood and 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains -- are you ready for this? -- 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each.
They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the back shocks were driven through the floorboard.
The car, with FLA (naturally) plates, was headed for Clanton, AL where the couple presumably planned to build a new house."
Sorry guys, I know I'm a bit of a novice but I also know I'm NOT thick.

Doesn't surprise me at all, the number of people I see stopped on the freeway collecting things that have come loose from their "loads".
Just last week I had to swerve at 80 in my blamanche like Jeep to avoid a five foot tall metal filing cabinet in the middle lane of the 5 lane toll road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least that dick in the Jetta wouldn't have got very far.
Speaking of dicks, don't encourage Lewis by replying to his BS.

Morning........ Thanks Olly, its quite amazing what some people think their poor old motor can carry. Looks like they even managed to move it a few yards too, from your pics.
200T ~ As you will see, I gave up on the old goat. Pretty well brings in the title of this thread again "Some people - DOH ". Possibly a better wish would be that the dressing gown cord got somehow tangled up in the stair lift mechanism..... oh what a pretty sight !
