TV dead! :( Should we buy or rent new one?
With the changes in TV technology - freeview, HDTV, LCD/plasma etc is it worth renting a TV for the moment before the technology (and prices ) settle down?
Not for ourselves actually - Parents in law's TV has expired
any advice appreciated...
Cheers
Mick

I would say buy one as at the end of the day its yours. As with renting, you will never own the TV.
My parents use to rent their TV. Then when it was time to replace, they worked out that is was far cheaper to buy one. So they did.
