Question Recommend me a good DVD to rent

Hi,

I have been tasked with picking up a DVD on my way home from work tonight to watch with the gf.

Has anyone else noticed how girls never want to pick a DVD, and say they really don't mind what you get, then when you pick one they say it was "rubbish", and "you're not very good at choosing films!" etc?

I sometimes think, if you're going to be like that, I'll just pick something I really want to watch next time!

But I must be too nice though , cos I want to get something she will enjoy. I'll probably fall asleep anyway!
Got 'The Business' out the other week which was cracking, but a bit gory for her I think!

So anyone seen anything good recently? Nothing too scary or heavy going...

Constantine - Keanu and Rachel - good for both of you - great film about good v. evil.

Love Actually - this raises possibility of you getting a quick bj on the way to bed as she will be all lovey dovey

About a boy - she will think you are a caring man who might want babies

Sin City - one for you to enjoy whilst she makes the tea

Constantine - Sounds interesting, not too scarey is it? (I mean, for the gf of course )
Love Actually - Seen it a few times, enjoyed it
About a Boy - Seen it, enjoyed it too!
Sin City - Seen it, ******* loved it! But far too much violence/luminous blood for her!

Ah yes, saw that - really enjoyed it! Lots of great twists and not a typical Hollywood ending - was pleasantly suprised by that one!

We've seen War of the Worlds, ***** Wonka, Narnia.

Ray's looking like the favourite at the moment, any other contenders?

Watched Hotel Rwanda a few weeks back. Excellent film, not a nice topic but very moving and very well made.

Have you seen the Bourne films? Just watched them again last weekend, very good, easy to watch.

A History of Violence was quite good, not sure if it's out on DVD just yet.....

Wedding Crashers was good.......

Batman Begins was very good.

Million Dollar Baby is a very good film.

Wallace and Gromit sounds like it has potential.

Got the Bourne box set, two of my favourite films (are they making the Bourne Ultimatum? Will [Team America]Matt Damon![/Team America] still play Bourne?

The others sound a bit heavy - need something to unwind to as I'm doing 2 x 12 hr shifts this weekend.

Serenity.. Good sci fi

Give me a break, I watched that yesterday, what overacted ****e that was.
She can put up a good fight though.

Constantine's just finished, now I did like that.
Wedding Crashers is good too, watched that earlier in the week

I gave up on Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon after about 20 mins this morning.

Today and tomorrow I've got Dune, Croupier and Amelie to get through. (mate dropped them round for me. )

Whoa whoa! You're all just reading out the top 50 chart now aren't you?!

Leaving work soon, and have decided on Ray or W&G, but also considering Kinky Boots - what's it like, and would I enjoy it?
