Question Digital Camcorder question

Been thinking about getting one for a while, really won't use it that much just good for a bit of snowboarding footage and the like. So don't really want to spend that much, what do people think to these, they seem pretty cheap but are they gonna be crap

My only requirement in that it must be small as possible.

Any opinions would be useful.

Be carefull what you choose, becasue snow causes glare so the camcorder would need a special function to compensate that. Why not buy a 2nd hand one from well known brandname?
