Anorak mode on : It's not actually the first top gear, that was in 1977 , i believe that one is from 1989.

Yep I though that, wonder why google say it's the first episode? Either way it's worth it just to see Tiff in a 500bhp cossy!

Just watched it all

1989 and a those exec cars for £20k-£28k. Makes todays STi's at that price an absolute steal

Clarkson's hair is like an affro Like to see him get a racing helmet ocer that!

God, what a dull programme!

Tiff's aged quite well and Clarkson seems to have become less posh.

Would you believe it - the drummer in Supergrass's dad is Chris Goffey!!

PS First episode in 1977 was presented by Noel Edmonds and Angela Rippon!
