Default Powergen: Electricity up 18.5%, Gas up 24.5%!!

Was expected I suppose, but some people must be starting to feel the pinch a bit now surely??!

Petrol, gas, electricity, council tax all showing BIG rises every year for the last few years now

Wages havent been increasing anywhere near fast enough...

Funny how the governments massaged inflation figures are still around 2% tho...

great, more outgoings.... ohh well. Just have to go lighter on the foot for one tank of petrol a month...lol

Just fixed mine until 2009

They're all pretty much the same - you're going to get shafted, it just depends on the girth of hte financial *****!!

I've been wondering the same - how the hell can all this stuff have mahoosive percent rises but inflation stays at 2%

Its obvious old Gordon is cooking the inflation rates.....
