sorry mate i hate to tell you i missed 1 episode & couldn't find it repeated anywere so its set the old video recorder time.
I am gona make sure i watch this 1 though.

I posted on the last lom post to say the beeb were repaeting the whole series, for the hard of hearing, if i recall it was last weds or thurs

No tears here just feel "done". Could have ended with him coming round to see Annie or Gene standing by the bed feeling bad about running him down. Stil would've left it wide open for a second series...as he fell back into a coma....... sorry...I'm off to bed ...... its only a TV show.

Nothing but praise for the Beeb for this series. I've been glued to each week, recording each one to DVD and Divx'ing each episode so I can watch it again.
I was kinda expecting something emerging between Annie and Sam, but now there's a whole series two for that !

I loved the line when he described the old school copper as "borderline alcoholic, bully, homophobic etc" and he replied "You make that sound like a bad thing?" Quality script

ending was disappointing.

Yep thought the same absolutely awesome series but the final episode last night was very disappointing. What was worse was they showed a trailer last week of what was going to happen and it looked great but they obviosuly changed it so they could do series 2, still top work from the beeb and here's to series 2!

We have enjoyed the whole series here, I thought he was just about to go back a couple of times last night. Glad he didn't though because I am looking forward to the next series.
Hope the Beeb can mange a few more series in this class.

I enjoyed it too, a bit of an Oasis in a otherwise bleak BBC schedule.
Last night I saw.... 2 wheelie bins, one CCTV unit, UPVC double glazing, modern Adidas trainers, and of course the obligatory Sky dish.....
PS. In the previous episode, the scratches on the coppers face moved from one side to the other...then back again.
One more complaint.....I saw no LCD watches....poor show.
