Default Tile laminate flooring- where to buy??

The carpet in the conservatory is ruined and we were thinking of replacing it with that tile effect laminate flooring. Anybody here used this stuff? Does it look like the real stuff once it's down? Also where's the cheapest and best place to buy (esp in the Newcastle area)?

Thanks

We did our kitchen in it and it looks very good. If you can lay it yourself, then try B&Q as that's where we got ours from. Most DIY stores do it now.

One thing I will say is that the darker ones show dirt very easily!!

I wouldnt say so.

I have just had my kitchen & conservatory all redone after the house builder made a **** of the originals ( 1 yr old) & it cost me £700 inclusive. Laminate tiles would have been half that

Decided to go for laminate tiling because being in the conversatory the laminate doesn't seem to hold the cold as much as normal tiles. We've laid laminate in the dining room and found it quite easy to do.

I fitted this stuff recently when I did my bathroom.

There were two main reasons I chose it - I'd had enough of tiling after doing all the walls, and as you say above - real tiles would have been too cold! Happy with the result, a lot of people think they are actually real tiles!

I got it from 'floors-2-go' I think.
