Does anyone know why it didnt include the new style membership card?

Perhaps they send it separately from the pin number for security reasons!

 

Star Wars as in Original StarWars or Episode 1?

 

no phantom menace dvd.

Have original trilogy in dolby digital on laserdisc aswell as phantom menace on japanese laser disc.

Now have my first starwars dvd.

Apparently rest arent coming out till the next two films are finished, then there will be one mother of all box sets.

Ep2 will be on DVD next then 3 presumably....

At this rate I'll be an old man by the time the lot are out on DVD (or whatever format there is then!) seems weird considering I was 5 when Star Wars originally came out!

The Phantom Menace sucked ***

EP 4,5,6 were far better imo.

 

Agreed it wasnt as good but the final ninja stylee fight sequence and darth maul amke up for it.

Coupled with the jedi skills bit when they cut through the blast doors run really fast and jump bloody high. Bit in the middle with the politics and the ja ja binks character were definitely lame.

always a bigger fish was pants too.

 

Yeah got to go out on saturday and get the dvd myself cant wait to see them new scenes. Also listen up Star Wars fans just downloaded the new episode 2 trailer. Its Fantastic, and lasts for 2 mins. Go get it now from morpheus.com.

This has to be the best DVD for picture and sound - it is stunning!

I've got the Region 1 DVD. Adam, I presume you're talking about the Region 2????

Anybody out there got both and can tell me if/what are the differences?

Got the region 1 DVD on Friday.

The pod race is probably the best Dolby Digital-ex mix I have ever heard, simply awesome, gave the sub a real work out.

Also got Dr Doolittle 2 on Monday. I missed it at the cinema so it was my first viewing and I've not laughed as much in ages, very funny film.

ordered myself a copy of the Godfather Trillogy on DVD, which is nice. Also saw that Apocalypse Now: Redux will be out in november. This version is a sort of directors cut and i think has about 30 - 50 mins more footage than normal one. Was shown at Cannes in last few years.

Download Morpheus.com. All it is, is a napster style site for downloading mp3s, video, software etc. Once you do that search for star wars episode 2 trailer. Morpheus is worth it for mp3s alone. If you cant find it try searching for it.
