Default annoying bleeps when my battery is dying on my mobile

Ok I know some of you know everything there is to know about absolutelky all the functions on all mobiles, but is there any way to stop my samsung d500 from making a low battery warning sound when the battery is low?

Its just that it takes up more of the vital battery power to tell you that the battery is dying, worse is when it switches the lights on the screen aswell, even worse it will do it every 1 minute or so.

It would be like your car switching on AC and reving the bollox out of itself when the fuel is low to tell you that the fuel is low...

anyone help?

My D600 does the same. Only way I solved the irritating noise is to press and hold "#" to put on silent. Screen still lights up but you don't get the beep.

Unless you are a call monster, the D500 lasts about 7 10 days before it needs charging, and then ity only takes 3 hrs at best, unlike my SE750i which needs charging every two days lots of games to play !!

Mine has died twice at work. I can't be arsed to cart the charger around with me so I'll either buy another one for the office, or a car charger.
They do run out quick though once the battery is low.

One reason why I will never buy another Samsung this exact phone woke me up last night

I have 3 phones next to my bed and every time the beep woke me up i turned one off (bit tired didnt even open my eyes) even after I had turned all of them off I could still here it, then I found out it was my wifes

Why does it beep and flash the screen every minute? Thats why the battery goes flat quicker

totally empathise - someone should code in a 'no battery warnings or text beeps during the hours of midnight and 7.am' feature on the b*stards .

My aincient nokia 6310i did exactly this - timed profiles that automatically changed themselves.

My D500 is a PITA - battery life sucks - 2-3days where the nokia did 7-10. Not impressed.
