Jusat had a Chicken Kebab, marvellous it was and probably the healthiest fast food there is, Lean Chicken char grilled, salad and a pitta, anyone else endure the half our wait of do you go for the Donner which must be death on a stick in comparison. Also Donner is rank if its not crispy, like 12:30 on a Friday night, big clumps of half cooked meant, yuk !

There's a place near me on the A6 that does fantastic chicken kebabs...preferably served on a nan bread ...chargrilled, its got to be the most balanced meal ever....meat,bread,veg ...what more do you need?

as for donners...I never eat anything carved off the twirling turd

A place by me do flame grilled fresh chicken, onion and pepper kebabs served up with whole chillies in pita bread. Mmmmmmm want one now!!!!

I remember a few years ago whilst on holiday in Turkey watching a bored kebab seller flicking the flies off his revolving donner thing with a specially knotted together, super long elastic band

After 10 pints on a friday night i dont care if its rat kebab, as long as its loaded with chilli sauce ill still eat it. usually pay for it in the morning though

A lad I used to work out of town with fell asleep in bed while eating a donner....it was on his pillow and he was munching it after a night out while watching the TV..

the mess in the morning was something to behold

i cant eat chicken, it gives me stomach cramps in waves, and then i end up ****ting everything out within 30 mins of eating it.

i ate some chips once that a mate had offered me, he had allready ate the chicken that came with them, i could feel the cramps starting and asked him what he had with his chips "chicken"


will have to stick with the normal donner kebabs, anybody else get a "kebab hangover" the next morning if you have one and do not have a drink?? lol

Theres a place by me that cuts the meat skewers it with onion peppers and mushroom then pops it all in a pitta bread for ya. Chicken, lamb very nice super taste chili sauce ........ wow im hungry now lol

Lamb or chicken shish is lovely.

How anyone can stomach the donner offal is beyond me. It's just ****e.

I dont eat anything from those filthy little kebab shops anymore, except maybe chips with chilli sause.

Used to get the odd chicken shish after a night out, but those places are all about maximum profit and the standard of the meat is quite shocking. Even the ham on pizzas in those places is mechanically recovered and reformed...

I phone my local up and wander round 15 mins later....no waiting and there's a threshers 40 seconds up the road too

To somebody elses post about poor quality it really depends on the shop, like anywhere there are good and bad places.

Used to have an ace Kebab shop in Wolves town centre, 'Horizon'. Big lumps of Chicken Tikka, like you'd find in a Cuzza, in Naan with Salad.

I'm been known to have a Lamb Kofte I think it is too...

Oh, and Mr Yummy's in Stourbridge does the cleanest Lamb Donner Wrap I've ever tasted. Lives up to the name of the shop!

Yep, I find I need to plan my food to correspond with a few beers before, to early and I dont get tuned in, perhaps 3 beers, have the food and then stop drinking as too full and theres nothing worse than beers sat onto of a kebab !

(normally always want a shish but cant always be bothered to wait!)

Lamb or possibly chicken shish - always worth the wait IMHO.

Still have good memories of Gyros over in Greece. The pork ones with chips were well nice.
