From what I've generally noticed women tend to like losers too, so if you are alcoholic, unemployed, a wife beater, adulterer or drug addict you'll find women will queue up. (I think it's related to some gene that women have that makes them think they can change men)

i read an article in a womans magazine recently that said more or less the same thing...massive generalisation i know, but not toooo far from the truth if you ask me...

My husband was in a lot of debt when I married him. Fortunately for him he had a filthy rich uncle to bail him out

keep asking wifey this question, as it still doesn't compute what women go for. Sadly for all you laydeez, I'm off the market but apparently, an air of confidence and humour go a long way.
I'm not exactly Brad Pitt, but neither do I look like Luke Chadwick
Decent job, and ok money.
My guess is age/timing is a big factor too - thinking about offspring and an ideal mate etc....
Sadly there also seems to be this self-destructive section of women who go for the sh1tbags - why? I have NO idea.

My problem i think is confidence, look wise im told im very good looking, its just my confidence is low and i dont know why ? it never used to be ?

an air of confidence mixed with arrogance and when you are interested in a woman whatever you do don't show her you are. Certainly don't start being too nice or at best you will become a 'good friend'. words that send a shiver through any red blooded male! all brought about because women are mad.....
