your missus is correct - two doses at least six hours apart and after that speak to the doc.

For a 10 week old baby, I would be inclined to speak to the doc straight away, or if symptoms don't abate after the first dose

When it comes to babies and health, you most definitely do NOT want to be taking advice from an internet forum as your first line of research, no matter what. Look at the box first, then call NHS24 and/or GP before. The instructions in the box is the definitive answer.

I sure it's not the case, but how does anyone know if you've got a foreign version of Calpol which could be stronger, or it could be the ibuprofen version of Calpol, etc etc etc.

not so much advice, she dosent need calpol, we were just discussing it, as louise was told its twice only, I just presumed its twice a day, you can read things a few times and not get it especially when your tired (were both knackered) hence just asked the question.

..and reading it from a bunch of nerds on a screen rather than a bit of paper from the manufacturer makes it easier to get?

Sorry, not taking the pi$$ at all....just trying to help (in my own strange way!).

the first 10 are the worst, then calpol cures many ills

(i reckon its a placebo) just the colour seems to do the trick
