Question Paypal question...

I've just received a payment into my Paypal account (and got the shock of how much their fees are!! )

Anyway, how do I transfer it to my bank account? Or does it happen automatically?

Thanks in advance.

You have to withdraw the money.

& it takes 7-10days & if under £50 iirc they charge you £0.25 for the pleasure.

Fees are a little steep arn't they. Sold somerthing for £450 the other month, with ebay fees & paypal it came to £34.00

7 - 10 days!!! That's barely any faster than banking a cheque sent by snail mail

There is indeed a further 25p fee for withdrawls of less than £50 So, is it the case that if I wait until I have received multiple payments totalling more than £50 I can then withdraw them all in one go?

Don't think I'll use it again after this batch of transactions.

best thing is to just keep it there for miscellaneaous ebay purchases that you can then buy without approval from the other half.

Oh, also, don't forget, that when someone has "paid" money into your paypal account and you "think" you can transfer it to your normal bank account, they can cancel the withdrawal because the "money" their customer sent to you is not legit.

Paypal = scheisters!
