Unhappy Threshold canned :(:(

Wondered why no threshold tonight, and did some digging...

Seems CBS in there narrow minded ratings war, decided to kill it after 9 episodes, the yanks only got to episode 10, we managed to get to 13

i,m really gutted , after all the dross we get lumbered with, it made a change to have a credible sci fi show back on..

if you want to complain...

Thresdhold was quite good, but found out months back it was canned in the states, so gave up with it then.

Same for Invasion

But at least 24 is back on our screens on Sunday

I enjoyed Threshold, thought it was beginning to get very interesting. I never did watch any of 24 but now have the first couple of series on DVD so I have some catching up to do.

The Americans do cancel stuff very rapidly these days. A lot of the old series took at least a season before becoming hugely popular, can't figure why the networks can't understand that. Think they really shot themsleves in the foot with Firefly.

I understood invasion was taken up, it was only Threshold that was dropped...

never got into 24 or the other stuff,

Half the trouble is over here Sky mixes episodes half the time, and you loose all continuity, so i gave up on loads of stuff

Threshold on the other hand had such potential...

Hehe I like Survivor but ITV scrapped the UK version after 2 series. The US (CBS) are now screening series 12 and I believe its the most popular TV series in the US.

I agree with the firefly series, never watched it whilst on tv, but wife was really into it, subsequently bought her the series on DVD for Xmas and the film. WOW! she got me hooked only to tell me there were no plans for another series
