Thumbs up

Juts fax them over the same page of A4 (say 20 times) with the score line in BIG letters on it, i think you will find it a universal language!

Well played England!

I was washing the scoob whilst the rugby was on as I have no interest in it whatsoever.

From the above comments I take it that Wales lost then.

Dont mention the game

Wales pulled out their usual tactic of :

Not playing too badly for the first half, giving us a glimmer of hope.
Playing just about OK for the first ten minutes of the second hald, still keeping our hopes alive that a comeback could be on the cards.
Playing absolute gash for the last half hour and getting stuffed.

Cant remember a Wales game where there were so many turnovers - they might as well have just handed the ball to England rather than make a pretence of keeping hold of it.

And Charvis needs to retire - all he has done EVERY time he gets the ball for the past 3 years is run two yards forward and dive for the floor maybe if he made an effort to stay on his feet he might deserve a place in the squad.

Ashamed to say they were just totally outclassed by England ( who werent playing that well either - dont think they would have beaten France playing like that ).

And the literal translation of Cymru Am Byth is acutally 'yes, we had a good team in the 70's, but refuse to admit that most of the kids in school all want to be footballers now instead of rugby players, so its unlikely we'll ever be any good again'.

I blame the closure of the mines - if you spent all day holding up thousands of tons of rock with just your head ( why do you think they're called 'props' ), you'd end up with a decent front row.

I went to the game and wished I hadn't. The first half was close enough to be enjoyable, but even then Wales weren't playing anywhere near the standard of last year. They really missed Henson and Shanklin in the centre - especially in defense. The last half-hour was humiliating!

The new Twickenham is an impressive stadium, but there is no atmosphere. Millenium Stadium when Wales are playing is a fantastic experience (if you're Welsh of course).

Take your pick -

Y Ddraig Goch ddyry gychwyn - The red dragon leads the way

Twll dîn pob Cymru! - Down with the welsh (literally - an arsehole in everywelshman)

Dal ati!, Daliwch ati! - Stick at it, dont give up

Or just to really confuse / upset him....

Dw i’n dy garu di - I love you!!!

And I have just watched Scotland/France and had expected France to walk all over the Scots lads!!

Thanks for other comments. Nice to see a thread that stays friendly even when racial tensions build
