As an englishman in a different country i only can view the stuff published in the sun online.
I can only read posts on the net(including scoobynet)
I can only talk to my family about whats going on etc...

BUT when i hear that the story is about a published cartoon and then i SEE a protest in LONDON as a hate demo AGAINST the english i have to say that soemone is taking the P*ss..

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006050831,00.html

They are allowed to walk through the streets of london basically saying that they are willing to go against anyone who insults muslims and yet that is ok?

im obviously missing something

Anyone who acts like that doesn't deserve to be in this country.

An absolute joke!

I also saw a placard with 'revenge the Bin Laden way' on it.

as a counter to that a 20y/o ish Muslim was being interviewed and he felt placards like the Bin Laden one out of order and had no place for that sort of behaviour either. He did not like the cartoons but felt the protests where doing more harm than good.

I keep coming back to think that if you cannot get along laws and ways of the country you choose to live in and it is so abborant to you then you would be better of living in one which better fits your needs.

I also find 'Revenge the Bin Laden Way' offensive!
I do not like to see the Union Jack burned in ths street either.

I do NOT want ALL Muslims to leave by any means but those who feel that the UK, it people and way are not right should realy think about going.

I feel this sort of behaviour does nothing but create fear and mustrust of Muslims which cannot be good for anyone.

The people on the protest are obviously here for the freebies, why else would you stay in a country you so pubically disgusted?

Has Mr Blair had anything to say about the protests? Excuse my ignorance but i don't watch the news very often same old **** different day!

right I have just about had enough of this stinking country.

Agree whole heartedly with all the above comments and this really takes the **** when this is even allowed to happen in this country. and the ironic thing is these people call this place their country as well or choose to live here.
Well its plain and simple, if you choose to live here, you will also adhere to the rules, respect each other and not start imposing your own rules and religious beliefs on other people.

It should be written in BIG FECKING LETTERS at immigration or on your passport, that upon entering the United Kingdom (thats a laugh as well..united yeah right ) that you agree to abide by all the rules stated here.
Anytime you are caught breaking the rules, **** off somewhere else. (obviously better worded )

I have spent many years living and being brought up in many countries around the world, quite a few of them predominately muslim as well.
In all these countries, even though we have different beliefs and practices from the majority, we have always remembered that
* we are guests of this country
* we have no right to impose or demonstrate our beliefs in any way
* we have the right to voice our objections but in a civilised manner
* we are the minority and thus should not think that gives us any more right than the majority.

Now in all these countries, yes we celebrated our own holidays and festivals, just like in this country we embrass other beliefs, cultures and actively encourage different holidays, even to the point where religious holidays other than christian ones (the majority) are welcomed.
No problem there at all.
BUT WE DID NOT START DEMONSTRATING IN THE BLOODY STREETS EVERY TIME SOMETHING UPSET US !!!!

Jesus, I think of some of the places and if we had gone around burning the national flag of that country in protest.Lets just say, I wouldnt be around to type this...

But of course in this country, we allow this and even marshall the protest with our own police (at our own expense) and the police were there for what. To protect the demonstraters from retaliation FFS..
No, what they should have done, is to say, yeah well go ahead and protest, but its on your own head you fecking crazy dumbass. no we wont protect you, its your choice. Its your right to protest, but hell no, we aint coming with you !!
Lets just see how many then went out and protested without police protection...

In fact, why even allow it in the first place.
I hate government oppression and agree with your right of freedom to express your self, but when it is race inciting, then no way.

Now of course loads will say, but these ppl were not all immigrants, most were brought up and born here. well isnt that just fine and dandy then !! that makes it worse.
If you have come here and decided to live and start protesting like that, then yes. say to them...if you dont like it here then get stuffed and **** off somewhere else. Totally agree

But for the ones that were born here and start protesting like that, well that really makes it worse. Jesus people, what the hell are you thinking.
You and I live here FFS, just get on with it and stop jumping on the fecking religious bandwagoin every time some small issue comes up

I cant even bring myself to comment on some of ther placards that were shoved in our faces via the media (we shouldnt have even covered the protest).
I will leave that up to some other people who can express the sentiments better than i can.

I make no apologies for anything I have written here and if anyone takes offence with this then you know what to do

Those people are seriously deranged, incapable of living in a modern society and giving rational responses. They should all be sectioned or deported.

Protest by all means, but the hatred and vitriol that they have shown is disgusting.

That child should be removed into care, what hope have some of that generation got when their own parents are proud that they wear Al Quaeda hats.

I've said many times Islam is the biggest evil in this world, they are just proving it once again.

The biggest worry I can see from all this is that people who would normally just shrug, raise eyebrows at another march/protest have finally had enough. Bad feeling is now growing across Europe from normally tolerant people. I see big trouble ahead
A couple of friends told me how angry they were looking at these placards last night and being really pissed off that the protesters were allowed to get away with racist and religious hatred/incitement. Not one arrest was made!!!! These two friends are 2 of the most liberal and tolerant people I know.
The worm is maybe starting to turn.

For an inside view of their beleifs..

A guy on pasion ford posted that he is seeing a muslim lady. He said..

"When she goes to her Mosque she is told and preached at not to mix, socialise or spend money with people outside of her race and community unless its for work!"

Now this guy is not muslim, he says if the family found out she'd be forced to marry a muslim within a week.

My point is if this is the general way they preach to their people then why do they want to be in the UK?

I thought it may be a 'one off' hardcore type of thing (for the balanced view) as did someone else and the guy then wrote this..

"It is, it's a huge one covered in gold leaf and attended by thousands. They also tell her the same thing at the main one in London and via live tv links up back to 'home' ( I always though thome was where u live, were born and recieve social support and where you vote but I must be mistaken), and also when her parents ***** her round at 'gatherings' trying to force her to agree to marry a stranger because she's 27 and not married yet."

That is their "Freedom of speech", "Freedom of Expression" because they are Muslim.
We say, do, write, draw, anything that a Muslim deems offensive, and we get labeled "RACIST". I ******* hate that word, but the more Muslims say that us British/European's are "Racist" the more people will turn racist, as they'll have just had enough.

Imagine, if a group of English lads went protesting down the streets of London, with placards saying "Kill Muslims", "Behead all Muslims", they'd all be locked up by now charged with "Citing racial hatred".
It's really starting to ******* annoy me now. Personally, and controversially, I wish that all these Muslims that are soo offended would just FCUKOFF out of this country.

No doubt, I'm a "Racist" for saying that.

That's because Muslims play the "Racist card" and everybody runs away for fear of been labled a "Racist".

I wonder what would happen to ME, or any white person, if I were to walk around London, or anywhere else in the UK for that matter, either on my own, or in the company of others, with a huge placard that said "BEHEAD MUSLIMS FOR THREATENING UK CITIZENS" ??

I think, in fact I KNOW, I'd be arrested and charged with racial or religious hatred, so fast my feet wouldn't touch.

Perhaps the BNP ought to do it........then challenge it in court, using the TV pics of Muslims doing it first as evidence?

The time is coming when we, the majority of people in this country, are going to have to stand up and be counted.

I have a few muslim friends, not very close but i have been to visit and was made very welcome in their home, i didn't feel as if i wasn't wanted there.

I am a white, christian male.

I Have no problem with muslims, i have a problem with those who see it fit to promote terrorist activity, i notice in one of those photos there is a white male holding a placard. I can't beleive nothing was done to stop that protest, i can't beleive Mr Blair hasn't said anything.

It's as if they are free to do what ever the hell they like!

I, for one, am sick to the back teeth of our tolerant nature and society being taken advantage of.

As the other poster mentioned, the feeling of discontent is rapidly rising and I wouldnt be surprised if some nasty things started happening over the next few months.

As far as i am concerened, our tolerance should now be shown to have a limit and so as a little starter to all the evil *******s out there :

1. you get caught burning any national flags (the union jack) you get deported.
2.You incite religious hatred, you get deported
3.a halt on any more immigrants full stop. close our borders, we aint open for business, no matter who the hell you are, or how bad your situation is in your own country until we stabalise the level of immigration
4.all the people who are awaiting deportation and are costing us while we keep you here, off you go and dont come back
5. we stop all involvment in any foreign affairs until we have got our own house in order
6. we dont police or accompany any further protests like this. and that goes for any tit for tat protests held. they dont get police support, nor do we.simple.
7. we round up anyone suspected of racial incitement and tell them where to go. they can apply to come back and have their case reviewed in about 3 years.
8. and to start with, every person who was involved in the protest the other day gets kicked out now, no questions asked
9. it should be pointed out in very large letters that the practising of militant or inciting racial hatred, be it fundemental islamic preachings or whatver, will not be tolerated any more. these signs will not be translated into any other language other than english. if you cant read the fecking sign then tough. if you dont want to learn to speak english, then off you go.
This is the language of our country so live with it matey.
10. you have a problem with any of the above, tough, go elsewhere and write a letter complaining, in english. we will gbet back to you with an answer at our own convienience.

well that was for starters, but i am sure there will loads more when i can get the time to write them down.

anyone having a problem with any of the above, well again, you know where to go.

seriouslky though, this has so angered me, that eeven though i think of myself as a tolerant person, enough is enough.
no way am i going to be a second class citizen in my own country.

and jujst for the record, i dont condone any of the BNP activities, but after what has happened, if one of their reps knocked on my door right now, I would give it serious thought about joining up.

and that people, is as far as i am concered, a direct result of thjose *******s protesting like that and indicitive of the general feeling in this country.

Push us far enough and we will fight back.

Why havent they been arrested under the same law that the BNP guys were tryed under just recently????????

Edit: didnt realise Abdabz had already posted words to the same effect up above. thats skim reading for you

I also find the BNP too extreme ,but some of what they say makes sense, and strikes a chord with the silent neutral majority ,if i were Mr Blair i would start to get a little worried about this, people will only take so much of the one sided religous tolerance ,trouble ahead i feel .

Apparently the Police didnt arrest anyone because they didnt want to inflame the situation, lol what a crock of ****. They also said that they "may" study TV footage, but that was it. I thought you had to get permission to stage these sort of demos. If not why not?

TV footage would be a laugh as the cowards mostly always cover their faces , I'm a pretty easy going person , I have never been racist , i'll take everyone as they come , I always will ,
right now I'm thinking if all the BNP would be interested in is just to get rid of the trouble makers they would get my vote behind them .....

Quite frankly by behaving the way that they have, extreme muslims have condemned members of their religion to the bottom of the heap in society. Unemployment already is a major problem in that community and this type of action isn't really going to make it any better for them.

I would tend to agree with the British Government's decision to let the hotheads vent their anger and at the same time let the world see them for what they are. They will reap what they sow.

Unfortunately [increased] prejudice against muslims will affect anyone of even slightly asian appearance, as most people either can't tell the difference or just don't care.
