Default Telephone and broadband provider, who should I use?

Im currently using BT to provide line rental and calls and PIPEX for the broadband.

I think they are taking the peesh so anyone recommend a joint line rental/calls/broadband package?

Be chuffed with any help

Vicki

You could try this site. It seems to have a good reputation for money saving. Been meaning to sort phone & broadband providers but haven't got round to it yet. If you find anything worthwhile, let us know

Do you still have to pay BT anything? Or is that taking everything away from then the line rental and calls?

Hi Vicki,

I've worked for a few telco's but would advise that you keep your line rental with BT.

Even though I know I can get landline and internet services cheaper elsewhere it the customer support that keeps me with them.

All the talk talks, onetels, Wannados and home calls may well provide services at a lower price point but there customer services stink!

I recently had a broad band outage wiith BT for over a week but they kept in contact with me and even sent an engineer which I'm affraid none of the above companies would have offered upfront.

Oh Tiscali are good company I do alot of business with them!!

you can pay talktalk for your line rental now, works out a quid or so cheaper per month.. so you don't have to pay bt anything..

www.v21.co.uk

V21 are an owner/partner in Talk Talk. Our calls are through talk talk and our broadband gets £2 a month discount as a result. £7.99 for 2 mb line, 2gb per month limit.

Went from Telewest to Bulldog, have had no problems whatsoever and my connection speed regularly exedes the 8Mb connection I have. I get 1365* Kbs often enough.

I've heard all the crap regarding Bulldog But find they have been head and sholders above Telewest.

It was a 'special come back to us' deal so much off for 3 months plus they had to tweak it a bit for managing to kill the direct debit for a couple of months and sending me snotty letters! Still only paying £15 a month for the full Sky package!

What have you had done? Mine has the H&S exhaust and Green Cotton air filter. So impressed with the result with so little done to her!

And it was actually 250.8bhp so not so far behind you

Bad luck on the leg/foot, sounds painful. Bet you look a right pillock
