Oi Prescott - what have you done!
Parking - for 3 cars....... no chance.
Social housing - spend 250-300k on a lovely house....pikeys across the road.
Gated communities....no pikeys, add 50k to house price, can't park 3 cars.

It's not good news at all if you're trying to buy a new house. They're at least £40K more expensive than comparable "second hand" properties. Is quite annoying.
OK, has anyone heard of Upton One? Development partly funded by something to do with Prince Charles. You can have a 5-bed property with no dining room, no garage and no garden (to speak of) for £300K. Great.

Near here a college spends £2000 a month of council taxes to take the children(11-16 year olds) by bus to the local leisure centre for gym classes. The distance is about 500 yards and the head master says it is too dangerous for them to walk along the pavement and past a filling station! He thinks it would be unfair for them especially in inclement weather.
