doing the off to get married next year.
anybody recommend any good hotels in the area?
done the usual searches on t'internet, just wondering if anybody had any experiences

I can recommend the mill forge to get married, I did it there last year. It is 100% better than the blacksmith place as that has coach loads of people turning up and wandering round watching you ..... Not nice.

So I would say the mill forge and stay in the hotel attached to the forge. Excellent experience, very well looked after, piper, meal after the full works.

There was only me and the missis and we were made to feel 100% welcome.

She had her hair done in the morning, the full trimmings, all arranged by the hotel. It was pretty cheap too

Good places for pics outside, the lady wedding who arranges everything (maggy) is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, good bar and a disco after, nice meal, piper, nice vicar the whole nine yards.......You cant go wrong there matey.

Like I said we had a look around and some of the others were like meat markets.

the wedding suite is cool 4 poster, big bath and all that stuff
