I need to get some money out of my HSBC bank tomorrow - but Ive just thought that maybe they dont open on Saturdays?!!

Anyone got any idea?

I don't think they are open on Saturdays, well they never are round here, have you tried phoning HSBC and asking, do they not have a 24hr line like Natwest etc.

Some of the more major branches are open in the morning only. Expect big queues

Some are, some aren't. The 1 in the nearest shopping town is, yet the branch in my town (a uni town isn't).

Most branches in town centres are open till 12pm iirc

My nearest major branch is in Bristol.

Ive looked on the HSBC website, and some branches are open, but all seem to have closed counters on Saturdays... Im not sure if branch staff would still let me take money out...

The person I am buying the car from is also with HSBC, so a bank transfer over the phone would be instant, however he seems to think it still takes 4days for the funds to clear??

HSBC are open on Saturdays, but only the information desks no tills

Just called HSBC and transfers between HSBC accounts are instant, and the funds clear instantly too
