They all share the same sharpness and fun concept, they must have spent a fortune recently. They did one that was the whole length of the ad break and this one is pretty long as well, good stuff

Think back 24 years (good god, is it really that long!) to the launch of the Ford Sierra in 1982. Nobody liked it. It was, however, mould breaking. The new 'teardrop' shape, moving away from the boxy saloons of the 70's.
I remember going to the Scottish Motor Show in 1981 in the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow and seeing the Ford Probe III on the Ford stand and thinking "WOW!".
Groundbreaking stuff. Quite XR4x4i in the end, this concept car. It was the half covered rear wheels that always got me!
Think Cortina (safe), Think Sierra (mould breaking).
Think old Civic (safe), Think New Civic (semi-mould breaking).
However, I really don't think the new Civic is that big a step jump that the Sierra was.
I'm still struggling to comprehend it'll soon be a quarter of a century since the Sierra was launched
