Thameslink/Kingscross - how busy ?

Can someone give me an idea of how busy it is on the Thameslink train from KingsCross to Gatwick on a Monday evening- around 6 ish ?
Two of us plus luggage !
Busy- Very busy-Hellish-avoid ??????

Before 5 or after 7 would be a better bet. You have a shout getting on at KingsX as it's a big 'destination' station - so plenty get off.

Failing that a cab over to victoria and gatwick express might be more comfortable.
