Dont find it funny? Is it because hes a rich footballer? That could happen to you in a club. Could happen to anybody. Disgusting behaviour.
Might have found it funny if it was someone like Kieron Dyer etc

I found it funny because Joe Cole is a complete nobber.
If he was someone "nice" like Shaun Wright-Phillips then I wouldn't find it funny.
....but he aint, so I do.
F$ck him.

Joe Cole is a bit full of himself I'll admit that but nobody deserves a beating like that for just chatting up somebody.
Met Shaun Wright Phillips have you? know how "nice" he is? If hes anything like his father Id suggest hes far from nice. Ian Wright puts on the brilliant Mr "NICE" Guy all the time but if youve met him and known some of the things hes got up too you'd have a different opinion.

Joe cole was probably giving it large and acting a ***** and got a hammering to bring him back down to earth.
There's only one type of person worse than a full of himself premiership footballer - and that's people that think they're premiership footballers.

Im not talking about Ian Wright and the law either. hes a dirty animal. Spitting at fans who were innocently trying to get his autograph and when he was caught on film he claimed he was being taunted with racist abuse. Bullsh!tting cvnt.

Wrightys history.
November 1991:
Fined L1,500 for spitting at, and making obscene gestures to, Oldham
Athletic fans.
December 1992:
Served a three-match suspension after a TV replay spotted him punching
Tottenham's David Howells.
July 1993:
An obscene gesture at linesman Brian Wigginton during the FA Cup Final two
months before cost Wright a further L5,000.
October 1993:
Forced to apologise to linesman Richard Saunders, a thalidomide victim,
after comments made in a game against Norwich.
September 1994:
Fined L1,000 for calling referee Robbie Hart 'a muppet'. He is forced to
pay out a further L750 as punishment for spitting at a female QPR steward.
December 1995:
Apologises to the FA after calling referees 'incompetent little Hitlers'.
January 1996:
Accused by Sheffield United's Roger Nilsen of spitting in his face.
Breaking Steve Ogricivics nose and trying to do the same to Peter Schmeicals legs.
And the outcome?
Own chat show on BBC plus numerous other high-profile TV presenting jobs cast as loveable rogue.

As much as 50% of the above is however true and he does have a point.
The other 50% is out of order however.
I think he has mellowed and somewhat calmed down now though eh....

Might be a bit vile and deplorable to a degree, but not the World's worst offences Dave. You could batch him with a vast number of prof footballers who have carried out the same acts, and probably a lot worse.
Not condoning his or their actions by any means, but I was hoping for some more juicy tit bits to be honest

lol... what do you want? on the pitch antics only go so far, the man that utd idolise was some crazy frog who thought he could do karate against Crystal Palace fans was well out of order and one of the worse incidents Ive seen at a match but come on. The point Im trying to make is the guy is on TV and portrayed as a Mr Nice Guy when hes obviously not.
The Oldham incident happened because he was on a yellow card and half way through the second half he elbowed Earl Barrett nearly crippling the bloke. Should have been sent off and went on to score a late winner for Arsenal. He was boo'd at the time off the incident with Earl Barrett and when he scored him and Merson ran over to the paddock giving it the V's and spat at the fans. He got away with that but he got caught spitting at the fans as he left the tunnel at the end of the game.
Disgusting animal in my book yet seen as many as the loveable bloke.

Don't think the original story is funny at all though, would have thought some of the lads would have stepped in? Bet he wishes John Terry was there!
