Question Dilema can any S/N Ladies Help !!!!!!

I'm getting married in May this year I have only one problem at the mo

Where I will be spending the night before the wedding is only 2mins from the church, I can't justify spending money that could be well spent elsewhere on a wedding car for me just to take me across a road.

I have said to people that I will walk, but quite a few of my wedding party inc my other half have said I can't walk to the church !!!

Can anyone suggest anything please to help me out

Thank you in advance

I knew someone who lived next door to a church and on her wedding day she still had a car but it was being driven by a family member so they just went for a drive around and then back to church. Obviously it might be different if you have to pay for a car and driver.

What's wrong with walking? Every girl wants her wedding day to be different. Otherwise get a taxi. A lot of taxi/mini cab firms have some really nice cars and won't mind a couple of white ribbons on them. And, if the reception is held close by, everyone can walk back from the church.

That's a thought - and you can always have a fleet of scoobs for the wedding guests

hi diane
great idea asking for suggestions but remember
whatever you do, make sure its what you want to do
not what people tell you you should be doing

btw,we had a 1936 rolls royce to and from the church
but walked home from the reception(500 yards)

Think he should let you have the car. If he can go to all these different meet thoughout the year then surely you can have the car on your special day.

We had an Old white Jag it was lovely.

And as Budgie said make sure its wot you want.

Go by car, plus you never know what the weather will be like.

If you are going in a scoob, you won't fit if you have a big layered dress.

I drove one of my friends to her wedding last year. I couldn't believe how many people looked at my scoob with ribbons on.
Probably also looked weird because a girl was driving and a bride was in the back...lol.

If you want to walk then walk. It will make your day as you will be the centre of attention walking down the High Street in your wedding dress!

However you will need a back up plan in case its pissing down! We all hope that it won;t rain on our wedding day but have to make a contingency plan in case it is!
