Question Bluetooth question

Quick question about Bluetooth that is not really computer related.

I have a Sony P910i. If I link it to a Tom Tom 5 GPS receiver can I continue to use my Bluetooth headset/headunit in parallel?

Sorry to sound a bit dumb - just not sure if you can link to multiple devices at the same time.

Cheers,

Rannoch

i would have thought you could actually, most new computer peripherals are assigned a handle number and each device is addressed accordingly... i'll go have a read on it, but if its anything like usb then i would think its ok

You can on some phones, just make sure any bluetooth power saving features is turned OFF (as it only allows a single connection when ON).

Rannoch, IIRC the problem was that you CAN use the headset to make and receive calls, but you CANNOT use the headset to receive voice directions from the satnav. This was 5 mths ago, might have changed. HTH

Thats is great - I am likely to get the Mobile 5 Bluetooth GPS system and wanted to continue to use my phone with a Bluetooth headunit.
