You need to hear one to believe how good these things sound, and i'm not the only one who thinks so. AV Forums

REL is for Joe Bloggs on the street who wouldn't know real bass if it hit him in the face The models SVS produce are in a different league...

If there in the same league as M&K, then by most reviewers reports there just slam & boom junkies,

SVS actualy state its about more bang per buck,

using plugs to tune ports is old hat, as is reflective plares under the cone to reflect the waves back

now its all down to personal taste, but i lived with some huge M&K type speakers for years, fine if you want to slamdunk on every bomblast and shake crockery off the shelves, but it limits your viewing times and can make you unpopular with the neighbours
hence my change to some Tannoys, they deliver the same but with refinement.

the yanks have and allways will be into over the top methods, Rel on the other hand use subtlety and presence to achieve the same effect

each to there own, if your happy with them thats all that matters...

Lol You've obviously never heard my Storm III reproduce the scene at the start of Independence Day where the alien mothership flies across the moon...
