gave the sub a work out today :)
hooked the puppy up propper and did some setting up..
those boys a REL know there stuff,
i cribbed a setup sheet, and used it to set my early b/day pressy up...
its not a rel sub, but the stuff they say works well..
used lotr as my ref material....
awesome, no sub bass without it on and superb presence with it on!!!!
one day i,ll run a rel, Pobably when i get my 60 inch plasma

You need to hear one to believe how good these things sound, and i'm not the only one who thinks so. AV Forums
REL is for Joe Bloggs on the street who wouldn't know real bass if it hit him in the face The models SVS produce are in a different league...

SVS actualy state its about more bang per buck,
using plugs to tune ports is old hat, as is reflective plares under the cone to reflect the waves back
now its all down to personal taste, but i lived with some huge M&K type speakers for years, fine if you want to slamdunk on every bomblast and shake crockery off the shelves, but it limits your viewing times and can make you unpopular with the neighbours
hence my change to some Tannoys, they deliver the same but with refinement.
the yanks have and allways will be into over the top methods, Rel on the other hand use subtlety and presence to achieve the same effect
each to there own, if your happy with them thats all that matters...
