Motorola V3 Razr- bluetooth??
Hiya all,
the wife has the motorola v3 razr, has anyone figured out a way to keep the bluetooth enabled for more than 60secs at a time?
I've been able to have it constantly running on my last 2 nokias and my s-e k750 but can't get my head round the motorola??
any help anyone??

Can't help but we were pricking around at work today, sending files by BT and the Razr was the slowest for receiving, took about 15 times longer to beam a 200k movie to one from a W800 than from the W800 to another one or a nokia.
Sorry, doesn't help but felt like sharing

SWMBO says that hers stays connected without a problem.
Could you post the settings and I'll have a look at her phone and see if I can help.
Will second the point about it taking ages to transfer files via bluetooth!
My P910i will connect to the bluetooth kit in the scoob, then disconnect after 30 seconds. As soon as I receive a call, it stays connected permentantly.
Having said that, it's 'puters, and I know nothing!

I've found something similar. It appears that if it doesn't find a Bluetooth pairing within 60 seconds it powers the Bluetooth down again. Really want it to be on all the time so when the wife gets into her car and starts it up, it automatically pairs with the Bluetooth handsfree.

I have the V635 and as long as the bluetooth is switched on (post #6) then it will connect to a previously paired device.
ie. I was in the middle of a call and was walking towards the car and next thing I know it has connected to the handsfree and I couldn't hear a thing.

The V3 is only discoverable via Bluetooth if you select "Find Me" from the Bluetooth Menu...
If you want it to be viewable to a specific device permanantly then just pair them. I've set mine up with a Bluetooth kit and it automatically connects now
Hope this helps...

Once a device is paired with the RAZR it remains paired, and will automatically pair with car kits when turned on with no intervention by the user.
Granted, the RAZR BT kernel is crap, but it can get better with a firmware upgrade. Get over to Motomodderz and get upgraded!
