NOT a Scooby in a Lake....
Supposedly a 280 mile route along a frozen river used for 6 weeks of the year near Yellowknife, Canada. A couple of times a year they sink without trace

ironically it is probably still in better knick than 1/2 of the UK's roads.
Just think the Govt. could make up a new tax by combining the water charges and road tax !

63 tonnes apparantly. Limited to 15mph it's supposed to be quite safe. It's thought this guy was speeding as the extra pressure created sends shockwaves to the banks and starts fractures.

I'm told the Russians use most of the rivers and also Lake Baikal for roads during the winter. One warm winter recently they couldn't, and the world price of lumber rose noticably as the shortage was felt.
