Default Replacing Remote control

Hello

I want to replace the (dead) remote control for my television. It's about 6 years old (an Hitachi Widescreen thing) and looking around the internet I can but a replacement but what about the "all-in-one" controls? How can I tell what they are compatible with?

I'm more interested in the switching between TV/RGB/SCART button rather than volume etc.. as the Sky+ remote can do that.

Thanks,

Steve

Pop along to your local tv shop. You should be able to order an original or copy of the original. Dont go for "one for all" remote as it probably wont do some of the functions (tuning etc).

post the model number of the tv and or remote control model and I will ask my mate who is still in the trade how much an OE remote costs.
