Genes Reunited...
Lovely christmas story! 
Registered two weeks ago and today recieved my 'Hotmatches' (where names in your family tree appear in other peoples). One of them was my Nana for sure. I paid £9.50 to upgrade my membership to message the tree owner that my nana's name appeared in...
Her dad (my mums uncle) passed away when she was only 11 months old. A few years after this her side lost contact (about 30 years ago) after one of my great aunties passed away.
She is very keen to re-establish contact with everyone; although we are both approaching the matter with caution. as you would, I feel this has made our christmas just that wee bit extra special!
If you have relatives that you have lost contact with, it is worth a go to register for free to see what it churns out

Nice one.
I've been using Gene Reunited for about 8 months now and have made several contacts with distant relatives - as far apart as norway and New Zealand. This has added over 150 people to my family tree!!
