I've put a mobile phone of mine on E-Bay for sale and got a question from someone offering me £200 for it as long as i posted it to Nigeria.
I've seen these offers before and the Seller has always refused to sell so i've done the same....but my question is What is the Scam???

Even if you 'get' the money, it will be clawed back after you have sent the goods. And you can't go bashing down people's doors in Nigeria to collect your goods back!

Tell him to f right off, or alternatively string him along for a laugh.

Already told them NO! but just wanted to know what they where up to.

How do they get the money back after you've sent them the phone or am i missing something?

they pay with a "western union" or other forged cheque - or stolen c/cards through nochex / fastpay.

Fasypay take the money back from you once the card is reported. - 1-2 months

The bank take the money back once the cheque has been found to be fradulent -upto 12 months
