Siemens everyday of the week...I guess the difference is in the price.

Neff are ok, there is certainly worse out there but Siemens are in a different league.

Thumbs up

Siemens all the way, Neff are now lumped in with all the other brands and just trading on their name.

I though most of the German brands use the same basic components (motors etc) anyway ....

Siemens is the upmarket label of Bosch, then there are two below (at least in Portugal, dunno about UK). So there are four labels of the same factory depending on luxury features and advertising etc.

The Neff kitchen equipment we bought is still going well 12 years later.

Miele for me. Never managed to kill one of their appliances early yet. Just changed one of their vacuum cleaners after 16 years every other day use after efficiency tailed off a lot and it started overheating.

That's what hoovering up a load of damp plaster dust does, then...

New Miele is even better. More powerful, way quieter and the pet filter is great

If you know somebody who works for Siemens, they have access to a friends and family discount scheme. You can get some good prices on white goods through it.

Just had a look at Miele prices, a bit too expensive, I have a whole house to refurbish!! Not really looked at Smeg.

Btw, can anybody tell me why there is such a difference in price on some electronic goods on Kelkoo? Are the cheaper ones advertised without warranty or something?

Deep,

Check out your local Euronics store. If you buy all there stuff from them they give you a hefty discount!
