Free SMS site????

Anyone know of any sites that allow you to send free SMS to mobiles?

You used to be able to do it with the ICQ messenger

Also try www.sms.ac you need to send one text from your phone to activte though! HTH

used to use lycos. not sure if you can still use it for free, but there used to be a limit of 5 texts per user name i think.
a source at hilti tells me their call centres use free web-based text services to send messages to all of their reps instead of calling them - must save them a fortune!
