Hi all,

Just thought id share this one with you. A guy at work (who used to run a bookies) placed a £1 bet at the weekend for a seven horse accumulator. He won and resigned today after winning £178,000.

Im jealous lol

I certainly wouldn't resign if I only won that much.... 180 grand sounds a lot more than it is, these days.

I wouldn't say no, though

Depends what age you are i guess... 180k at 64 would be plenty.... 25, a different story!!

Agreed. It'd allow me to trade up to a good sized house, but not mortgage-free.

It's actually pretty depressing when I work out how many years I'd have to work to actually earn that amount.
