New Job 14 miles return what to buy?
I've got a new job much nearer to home. It's only a 14 mile return trip over country roads.
I can't afford a scooby again because I now have a young family and can't afford all the other costs, but I would like something a bit more fun than the 1.6 Civic I currently run.
I still need to carry the children around so i need four seats, and I can't go mad over running costs, like insurance, for the same reason.
Oh and yes I had considered cycling but it is over a MASSIVE hill on a relatively busy country road....so I will die if I choose this option
What would you get

Is this the only or second car?
Frankly, if it's the only one, you're asking a difficult question. You want something big, practical and fast but small, economical and cheap!
Focus? Chassis makes it better than most.
PS This thread to be appearing in Other Marques any time soon
