mobile home/static caravan advice
Thinking of getting one of these for the farm in Ireland. The main house will need some works so I want something thats "liveable" for several months.
Have had a hard time getting some info online, and I thought I'd ask on here as info can be gleaned on here for the most obscure of subjects
How manouverable are these things? I know they have wheels on them and they are on the back of a flatbed for transportation, but, I need to work out if they can be pulled across 50m of field by a tractor or 4x4. The field I have in mind probably wouldn't be suitable for the transporting lorry.
Planning permission wise, would this require permission even though its a "temporary" structure?
Any other comments tips etc are most welcome, but try and limit the pikey and dags jokes

Can you show us a picture of ya ma?
Assuming the ground is gonna be boggy you may well need to board the route across the field, 50m is a long way so get a few boards and re use them - unless you want a large pile of muddy planks at the end.
Tractor your best option to tow it as a lorry will weigh a ton (wel several) and very likely to get stuck and then you will need a tractor to get them both out.
oh and i can't help it
Do you loike dags?

can pull them with a land rover, manuvering them is tricky. if this is going to be your home you have to remember that the electrics, water and sewerige all need connecting, so its prob a best if you can find a perminant place to sight it.
